Both of the Vriesea splendens pups have grown well through May. The foliage is only just starting to develop the characteristic banding, but that should become much more pronounced in the next month or two. Otherwise no changes to feeding, environment, etc., other than possibly a little less light getting to the plants, due to the growth of the Ananas comosus (pineapple) that they are positioned next to. I don't anticipate any future cultural changes unless the foliage doesn't develop good colour, in which case I will experiment with different light levels.
