My only hybrid palm. I received this as a three leaf seedling around August 2005 and it has proven much more robust than the Jubaea, growing to a much larger size already, although that can partly be attributed to health problems with the Jubaea. This palm has been in my polytunnel since I' have had it, but is now reaching a good enough size to go outside this year. It will be re-potted some time in late spring or early summer, which should give it enough time to re-establish before winter. As with many of my plants it is looking below it's best at the moment due to calcium deposits left by the humidifaction system. Hopefully it will have enough time during the summer to improve it's appearance with some new growth.
