The Geonoma schottiana continues with steady growth during the summer months, possibly slightly slower than in previous months. Due to some signs of leaf burn and a general reduction in foliage pigment, I have permanently removed this plant from the germination box, to a more shaded location, which I'm hoping will help to restore it to better health. There are still no signs of germination from the other Geonoma schottiana seeds and, whilst I haven't given up hope on them, I'm not really expecting to see any new signs of life now. The remaining potted seeds will remain in the other germination box, until it becomes inpracticle to leave them there.
