Chamaedorea radicalis (Trunking Form)

The Chamaedorea radicalis (Trunking Form) seedlings were separated into three larger pots during May, with three plants each in two pots and two plants in the third pot. I placed the pots in varying positions in the polytunnel, one with more light, one with less light and one with the same light as previously. I will now be monitoring which light levels seem to be best for them. At the moment all of the plants seem to be adapting quite well to the transition with plenty of new growth, but I will change things again, if I notice any signs of poor health. They are quite an adaptable species in terms of light tolerance, so they will probably all remain happy. Watering and feeding has remained basically the same, although the new potting mix tends to dry out a little quicker than the old mix, so watering may be occuring slightly more frequently.
