Macrozamia moorei

I purchased this Macrozamia moorei at the same time as the Cycas taitungensis, August 2005 and it was also a three leaf seedling. It had grown steadily, although nothing like as fast as Cycas taitungensis, until around August 2006. It started a strange growth habit, where each leaf was smaller than the previous to the point where the newest leaf now has leaflets so small that they are barely visible. I have spoken with Cycad experts about this and it seems somewhat of a mystery. The plant still seems healthy for the most part, however it is producing new leaves less frequently and the last leaf suffered some damage, which I assume was due to excessive humidity or at least shock from a change in humidity. It will be interesting to see how this plant progresses from here on.
