Cycas panzhihuaensis

This Cycas Panzhihuaensis had just started to form a new leaf at the end of February. This is now fully formed and looked healthy. Unlike my other two Cycas panzhihuaensis, this plant didn't seem to suffer ill effects from excessive humidity, although the previous two leaves are starting to look a little dried out now. I suspect any problems with the leaves now are more likely to be the result of growing it in 100% perlite, which would probably be great for many Cycads, but this species is used to moist soil in habitat and I doubt the perlite holds sufficient moisture. I have certainly found myself watering this plant more freqently than the other two, every 1-2 days on average, compared with once or twice per week for the other two. Cycads are generally not too bothered by re-potting and once I see signs of some caudex forming I will re-pot all three into larger pots with a more balanced medium.
