Cycas panzhihuaensis

This Cycas Panzhihuaensis has started to push up another new leaf this month. After the previous two had become quite badly burnt and grown malformed, I was quite pleased to see that this leaf looks perfectly healthy at the moment. The previous two leaves didn't burn straight away, but the fact that this leaf looks normal is encouraging, so hopefully my diagnonsis of excessive humidity was correct and I won't see any problems with future growth. This plant is the most developed of the three now with four leaves, but no sign of a caudex forming yet. My previous Cycas (taitungensis) was purchased as a small seedling, but already had a small caudex when I received it, so I'm not really sure at what point to expect to see some caudex forming on this species.
